Anyone Remember "The Clash"?

I've been humming this tune all day long.

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

Please vote in our newest poll. And, feel free to add an explanation as a comment to this post.

Hellmann either misled the board by withholding the true cost, or else he honestly didn't know and is now covering his ass. Either way, he should resign. I'd respect him more if he did.

If he really didn't know, the right thing would have been to call a special meeting to undo the defeasement vote.

If he really didn't know, he should never have charged down that path. Either way, he IS responsible and needs to be held accountable. There is no excuse to save him. I sincerely hope that the investigations rumored about are very real, and that all of the board members realize that the ends do not justify the means, regardless of one's own sense of right and wrong. The law is a blind woman with scales. Al Radosti was a policeman. He more than the rest should understand this. I can only hope that the rash and ill-considered actions taken do not cost the borough even more than they already have. In the immortal words of the bard, "To be or not to be, that is the question."

You would?

But...Would you respect him in the morning? He's already F$^%&*&ked the town.

"You would?"

Everything's relative. I have zero respect for him at the moment.

I think we can hold him personally responsible for the $2.4 milion, and I plan to do it.
