It was a good night. I liked it when the kids joined the band and were singing the National Anthem at the start.
The teachers, staff, and students put a lot of work into this and it showed.
Those uninformed people who think badly about Morrisville students, like the lady insulting the high school band in the newspaper and most of the board members in general, needed to be here last night to see the reality of this school district.
I saw lots of fun, and great spirit, teamwork, effort, and sportmanship.
I can't say it would have been nice to see most of the board members there, but they should have been there anyway. Thing is, I think they would have seen something different than what I saw, something more in line with their not-so-great-in-my-opinion world view.
At least we should be spared the "I went to gym night and it was so wonderful" comments from board members as they then proceed to vote otherwise.
