Yep.
I find it very interesting to note, that after snoozily reading the past several months blog entries, the acidic rhetoric has dropped off.
I attribute this primarily to the editor's decision to curtail anonymous (or aliased) entries.
So, what, suddenly the cat has the toungues of Steve, Marlys, and Bill now that they can't publish under the psuedonyms of "IfYourNotWithMe", "Clueless", and "DoAsISay"?
It is surely no longer fun (don't call me Shirley) to listen to the blogheads babble amongst themselves. What happened to TWO sides of a CONVERSATION?
What gives?
Well, I ain't a-stoppin' on account of them bein' all silent lately. I think this is a great forum for thoughts and ideas. I for one like to post things to document the goings on, and refute some of the conventional what-passes-for-wisdom 'round here. Yeah, I'd like to see the Steves, Marlyssss, and Bills post here too. Possible reasons why they don't:
1. They don't want any ideas but their own to have any creedance, so they choose to ignore rather than engage;
2. They sorta know deep down that their ideas, plans (or lack thereof), and actions don't stand up well to logic or scrutiny.
Heck, they don't even answer the legitimate direct questions they're asked at school board meetings.
It does indeed seem to coincide with the removal of anonymity. Oddly enough, creating a Blogger account doesn't necessary mean you can't remain relatively anonymous, it just means the comments can be traced back to a certain login, and even that can only be traced back by the folks at Google.
