Yeah, show up early so you can sign up to speak!
We are at a serious crossroads, folks. On the agenda will be a plan to defease the bond. That means invest the money so that we can no longer use it. The board majority wants to do this (a cost) BEFORE they figure out what they can legally do with our schools and students.
Isn't that like putting the gate before the horse, and tying the board's hands unnecessarily? You know, like when the "previous" board sold the MR Reiter and Grandview properties for development, thereby sealing the deal for the new school to be built?
Oh wait, that board actually discussed the issue in public first. Oh yeah, and that board never went as far as bringing it up for a vote, and it didn't seem to have majority support anyway. OK, well except for those minor details....
