Anyone have information on the status of the Morrisville Dempublican efforts at party purity?

Morrisville, in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is a colonial era town in the midst of transition into the 21st century. Taxes, personalities, and development all combine in a sometimes explosive mix. Come on in and join the discussion Email: savethemorrisvilleschool@yahoo.com

I believe "the Morrisville 3" (MV3)will ultimately be exonerated, but no decision was rendered last nite by the County Arbitration Board (CAB). It's hard to say when or if the CAB's decision will actually come down, because neither the M'ville Demo Club (MDC)nor the CAB seem truly bound to their own rules and timetables. Hence, last nite's hearing 85 days after the 1st charges were filed, when 10 to 30 days is the rule.
Bottom line is, the MV3 did nothing wrong. There was general agreement that the MDC's bylaws (dating back to Oct. 2000, with numerous scribbles and hand-written notations) weren't valid. That's why the original accusations from 9/18/07 under the MDC bylaws were refiled by Dave Rivella on 11/7/07 (received by the MV3 on 12/5/07) under the County bylaws. However, the County bylaws do not prohibit rank&file MDC members from supporting non-endorsed candidates.
So, it seems like the CAB has a clear path to exonerating the MV3, but they're also in the business of seeing that all Dems play nice together, stranger things have happened, etc.
Learned a few things, though:
1. It's not personal. Mr. Rivella's hands were tied, he has nothing against the MV3, he merely dealt the hand he was given as the incoming MDC President.
2. The original accusations that dated back to Sep. 18th were dismissed, although no one seemed to know exactly when, and no one informed the accused (sounds like a Kafka novel, doesn't it?).
3. The MDC revised its bylaws within the last few months presumably to clarify these sorts of situations going forward.
4. Dave Rivella reads this blog. Dave, can you please send a copy of the revised bylaws - I believe you have our address.
Although it is not all that reassuring to hear that there's a lot of confusion within the MDC (although isn't that a hallmark of the Dem party?), it is quite reassuring to hear that Dave Rivella is simply playing the hand he was dealt.
I should clarify that Mr. Rivella said it wasn't personal, and it wasn't about the school. Whether he meant it or not is another story. I've encountered a lot of "it's not personal", "it's not about X", when it sure as heck seems like that's exactly what it is. It strikes me as a defense mechanism to deflect criticism ("don't blame me, it's not really me doing this to you").
It's not personal, the insults, threats and rumor-mongering notwithstanding. Bah!
Did anyone hear that Steve Worob is publishing his own book about Morrisville?
That's an interesting comment about Councilman Worob writing a book about Morrisville. Can you provide any further details and how this would be good or bad for the schools?
Worob is writing a book? He is even stupider than I thought.
When he published his ranting manifesto "The Raping of Morrisville" it was fodder for lawsuits and did him far more harm than good.
Despite the fact that he cannot put two coherent sentences together (sadly, he IS a product of the Morrisville School District) I anxiously await the publication of this book.
Let the lawsuits begin!!!
"The Raping of Morrisville"? Sounds like a Movie of the Week starring all the B-list TV actors available. If it was the subject of legal review, I doubt it's available, but I'd love to read it.
With children in the district, I can honestly say that I have never met a group of more dedicated and committed teachers than I have in my association with this district. I am proud of the education that they have received here, and I want the small Morrisville district to remain.
Here's a caveat: The education that they receive at school is supplemented by learning at home (note--NOT homework!) provided by the parents. Education is not a teachers only sport. Parents need to be involved too.

Oh yes! It is a very real document. Several pages (over 30) that was distributed to the entire school board and the public as well. Worob would freely hand it out to anyone who asked, so i am sure there are copies all over town.
If not, well it was given to the school board at a public meeting, and therefore part of the public record. Go to the district offices and ask for a copy of the minutes from the meeting where they were handed out.
The title is very indicative of the mindset of the author.
Dang, I don't want to put a dime in that man's pocket, but I feel like I may have to buy a copy just for entertainment value.
Wonder if he'll do a signing at Barnes & Noble?
